Fed: Second 767 back in the air today

The second of Ansett's grounded 767s is scheduled to take-off from Melbourne Airport
at 11.30am today.

Ansett public affairs manager HEATHER JEFFERY says the aircraft will fly to Sydney
and then on to Brisbane with what she calls reasonably full passenger loads.

The aircraft was cleared to fly by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority last night.

Ms JEFFERY says the plane is expected to take off on time, although Melbourne airport
has experienced minor delays this morning because of bad weather.

She says the 767 will join the rest of the Ansett fleet and three chartered aircraft
to carry a total of 37,000 passengers on the airline today.

CASA grounded Ansett's 10 767-200 aircraft on the Thursday before Easter over safety concerns.
