VIC:Woman killed in western Victorian crash
MELBOURNE, Dec 22 AAP - A woman has been killed after the driver of the car she had
been travelling in lost control in western Victoria.
Police say the Holden station wagon had been travelling on the Henty Highway at Dooen
about 10pm (AEDT) on Wednesday when the car veered off the road.
Investigators believe the car struck a drain and crashed into a fence, before flipping
over and coming to a rest in a paddock.
The 31-year-old woman died at the scene, while the 28-year-old male driver was taken
to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations into the collision are under way.
